High Anxiety Door Guard

The first crate my anxious dog won’t be able to break through! Since he was rescued as an adult dog who had never been crate trained, I have to go slow with the training. I still haven’t left him alone, but have been putting him in his crate for longer and longer periods of time with me still in the house. He actually has gone in on his own accord a couple times this week! The door latches are fantastic and there is no way this little beagle mix can break out of this one! I will take my time before leaving him alone in it in the house because I want it to become a good experience for him. The crate is expensive, but the damage he was doing to our house when we tried to leave him was getting worse and worse. The last time we left him, he chewed up a chair, files in my home office and then he tried to chew through the front door and tried chewing the door handle. His mouth was cut and bloody when we got back home. Crates have never worked because he had already destroyed 2 of them when we first rescued him. So $1,000 is worth it to keep him from causing this level of destruction. I’m very hopeful that we found the perfect crate for him!

The Anxiety door guards are great for preventing our dog from attempting to chew his way out of his kennel. 4 star review only because it is kind of a pain to line up the two sides and get screws lined up with the holes. Would be nice if they clipped together somehow especial when the price of the kennel is crazy high.
