FAQ

What benefits does the High Anxiety Crate offer for escape artists, or dogs with high anxiety?

The High Anxiety Impact Crate is designed to provide a secure and safe space for dogs that have high anxiety or are prone to escaping from other crates. Customers report that their dogs feel secure and safe in the crate, with many settling in quickly and showing reduced signs of anxiety.

The sturdy construction and heavy-duty latches make the crate escape-proof and bite-proof, helping to contain even the most talented escape artists. Furthermore, the crate offers additional privacy for dogs, which can help alleviate anxiety. The design also appears to be calming for dogs, providing them with a dark and enclosed space where they can feel comfortable. It is praised for its durability, easy assembly, and the fact that it has a resale value due to its quality construction.

The High Anxiety crate is also the only crate on the market that offers a Lifetime Dog Damage Guarantee. Meaning if your dog breaks it, we'll replace it.

In essence, the High Anxiety Impact Dog Crate has been shown to be a worthwhile investment for pet owners whose dogs suffer from severe separation anxiety or who have a continuous problem with other crates. Its the last crate you'll ever need, guaranteed.

Do you cover dog damage?

The High Anxiety crate is our only crate covered by the Lifetime Dog Damage Guarantee. If your dog breaks it, we'll replace it. We do not cover dog damage on the Stationary or Collapsible crate models.

I purchased the High Anxiety crate. What does this Lifetime Dog Damage Guarantee cover?

If your dog damages a part of the crate causing a malfunction or compromising the safety of your dog and the crate, those parts will be replaced for free. Free replacement parts, or even crate replacement, is provided within this lifetime timespan. If this happens, please contact us immediately, so we can provide you with replacement parts or a brand new crate.

If your dog breaks it, we'll replace it!

Can I order the High Anxiety Crate in a different color?

The High Anxiety crate is only available in gray. This is to ensure we can send any replacement parts in a timely manner, if needed.

Is the High Anxiety Crate's air ventilation differ from other crate models?

It is a common misconception that the High Anxiety crate will have less air circulation than the Stationary model. The High Anxiety model does have smaller ventilation holes to help prevent the dog from being able to get their teeth, paws or noses into these holes. Although we use smaller ventilation holes of 1/2 inch, we have increased the overall amount of ventilation holes to provide the same air flow as our Stationary models.

Can I fly with the High Anxiety Crate?

No. The High Anxiety crate is not airline compliant.

What is the difference between High Anxiety, the Collapsible, and Stationary crates?

The High Anxiety crate will have double the thickness of aluminum, welded and riveted, and reduced 1/2" ventilation holes. It incorporates the use of a paddle latch rather than the slam latch and also includes 4 additional butterfly latches for extra security on the front door. The High Anxiety crate also is our only model that includes a lifetime dog damage guarantee and the only crate we have not had a single dog escape from.

Our Collapsible is extremely versatile, it can be collapsed and set up in under a minute and transported very easily. Additionally it is the only crate that offers our 54" size perfect for Great Danes.

Our Stationary has a wide range of sizes from small breeds to large breeds, has the ability to have a side door add on for different home configurations, and is Airline Approved right out of the box.

Does the High Anxiety Crate collapse down?

No, only our Collapsible Crate will collapse down. The High Anxiety crate does require assembly so if needed you can disassemble the crate to relocate it.

How do I assemble my High Anxiety crate?

Please see this video for assembly instructions.

    Can’t live without this crate!

If you are on the fence about buying an impact crate, PLEASE READ! I wish I could give this crate and company 100 stars.

When we rescued our 6 month old German Shepherd, we tried every crate imaginable. Wire, hard shell, you name it. We used clamps and ties to keep him in, and he would go crazy, bloody his paws, and tear his way out of every single thing we attempted. We even tried letting him free-roam the house, but, as all puppies are, he was destructive when left alone. After destroying hundreds of dollars of things, and giving us scares that he would hurt himself when out or trying to break out of other crates, we bit the bullet and bought a high anxiety impact crate. Hands down best. decision. EVER.

After a slow introduction to the crate, we put him in it, and he cried for about 10 minutes and scratched at the door… and that was it. It’s been about a month since we got it , and he now goes in and out of the crate with ease and settles right down. When we come home, he won’t make a peep and will wait until we are ready to let him out. He’s done a full 180, and I truly believes he feels the crate is his safe space.

If you’re having doubts, I recommend trying an impact kennel. It has saved our sanity and helped keep our anxious, escape artist calm and safe when we can’t be home with him! 10/10 worth the investment!

    He's met his match.

At first I didn't want to cough up over $1000 dollars for a crate. But my dog had left me no choice. He has never been good with crates, always manages to get out of them...to the extent of self harming. I have even zip tied the crate before to prevent him

from breaking out with no luck. So I eventually just let him roam the house freely.

For years he had done great as an indoor dog, never peed or pooped in the house, could leave him alone for hours and have no issues. Sometime in July of 2022, either cuz of the fourth of July fireworks or weather the following days (thunderstorms), he changed. He broke my window trying to escape the house. For context he's a medium size American Pitbull terrier, about 55 lbs and the window are old glass panels held by glazing. Me and my wife figured this was a one time incident due to him being afraid of both fireworks and thunderstorm.

This persisted even when there were no fireworks or thunderstorm. Eventually, he managed to break out of 6 different windows in the house, and destroy other pieces of furniture in the process. Not to mention he would injury himself. I bought a camera to monitor him while we weren't home and actually caught him in the act. I guess he developed separation anxiety sometime after July from his fear of thunderstorms/fireworks. We tired everything we could think of: thundershirts, CBD treats, taking him on longer walks to tire him out. No luck, manage to break the 6th window when i was only gone for 30…

    Exactly the crate I needed.

Crating a Malinois can be a challenge. I borrowed a typical cage crate from a friend, which I knew wouldn't be sufficient and I wasn't wrong. Then I bought an Amazon knock off of the Impact collapsible model. It worked for a while until my "Houdini" was able to drop the back wall the first time, bend it down the second, and actually rip the metal the third time after I added the included reenforcment bars.

After this experience, I realized there was really only one solution....Impact's High Anxiety Crate. Game, set, match. Not getting out of this thing.

Buy once, Cry once. Lesson learned.

My dog cut herself on a bolt inside the crate that was sticking out. When I contacted the company about it I was told to train my dog. Very disappointed in the price I paid to have my dog hurt and then get told it’s my fault. I’d give no stars if I could.

Received crate that could not be assembled due to bad machining…. They wanted me to drill the holes to align it. This crate was to expensive to get shoddy work. I have cancer and not able to drill these myself. I am very disappointed and need this to be resolved
