I originally started with a high anxiety crate for my lab/husky mix who had severe separation anxiety, and I bought it used from someone. I absolutley loved it and it helped my boy to quickly realize the freaking out got him nowhere, and combined with regular training he was over his separation anxiety in just a few months after over a year of breaking out and destroying everything in his path. After almost 2 years of no barking or incidents, I planned a vacation he would be coming on and decided I needed a much more portable crate. I decided to go with a new one this time and it was perfect! My dog is a very tall dog for his weight, and make sure you measure your dog's height and look at the dimensions of the crate, dont buy just off the breed recommendations. I bought the size that said worked for a lab or a husky and it was much too short for him and also not long enough. I was really stressed because I had to leave in a week for vacation but customer service was ASTOUNDING! They sent me a new crate as soon as I shipped back the original one, and within 3 days I had the correct size crate. Since I also ordered a pad, but the pad for the new crate was on back order, they let me keep the smaller one and still sent me the correct size for his crate. It's so easy to put together and break down on your own, even for someone with joint issues like I have, and it's INCREDIBLY portable. Originally the crate I ordered was too small (it was my mistake) so I exchanged it for the next size up and was on a time crunch because I needed to use it on vacation. Originally, I said I didn’t care what color they sent it in and they ended up sending me my exchange in the right color expedited! The most amazing customer service on the planet. Not to mention the crate is perfect too. I’m all of 108 pounds and I was able to carry this crate up the stairs. I ordered the 40 inch. It was easy to assemble all by myself.
