I had no idea how much I was going to love these locking slam latches until I got them. WOW! It is so great to not have to futz with typical crate latches - especially with hands full, or winter stiff fingers, or just plain “in a hurry” - to just slam them shut as needed and BAM they are very securely closed. Also it is wonderful to be able to lock a dog safely inside the crate especially when traveling. This is a huge improvement over my previous crate latches!

The removal of the originals and the installation of the new latches is very self explanatory and easy to do.

Bought two lockable slam latches for both end doors of my 400 collapsible crate. Very quick and easy to install the latches. I like to have the ability to lock my dog's crate at large dog sport events if I choose to do so without having to carry padlocks.
